The workshop is addressed to Electrical Engineers and Computer Engineers and/or Developers who want to know the architecture of the Arm © CortexM family, want to write their own hardware accelerator and learn how to integrate a custom IP into SoC.
The purpose of the workshop is to present Arm's ecosystem that aims to simplify and accelerate customized IP design as well as to create an SoC based on Cortex-M family CPUs. The workshop will present the Arm MPS2 + prototyping board as well as the Arm DesignStart software, which integrates custom IPs on the above board.
The workshop will present Advanced High-Performance Bus (AHB) and Advanced Peripheral Bus (APB) communications channels as well as a Cortex-M0 prototype kit that will include a customizable subsystem of the above channels, enabling the user to customize the logic that surrounds Cortex-M processors.
What I will need for the workshop: During the workshop, an Image file will be shared with all the synthesis tools pre-loaded with the corresponding licenses on the Verginas' PC. Participants can bring their own laptop. Required knowledge: • C: beginner knowledge, • SoC Prototyping: beginner knowledge, • Verilog: working knowledge
