BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is a non-profit, non-political, student volunteer organization. Since 1989, it has been offering opportunities for communication, cooperation and cultural exchanges among students across Europe. It operates through 97 local BEST teams in 34 countries, which create a growing, highly organized, strong, youthful and innovative student network. With over 3400 members working on a daily basis across Europe with the development of BEST services and through its events, it is addressed to more than one million students. BEST encourages "Enhancing Diversity" and helps European technology students to gain an international culture by achieving a deeper understanding of European cultures and developing the capacity to work voluntarily in an international environment. BEST's main action is the academic seminars organized to provide complementary knowledge to participants on a modern technology theme. Participants broaden their horizons, develop skills, and travel, know other people and cultures. Also, through European-wide competitions (EBEC), students are given the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge they have gained in the university, in reality. BEST organizes actions related to the labor market, giving opportunities to students through career support events (job fairs, company visits, workshops). Through BEST's international career center, knowledge and skills development are provided to help students get closer to their professional future they dream of. At the same time, a wider framework is created in which the members of the organization can share knowledge and gain experience by organizing these actions.
